Bundle Stars releases the Dynamite Bundle - Nerd Age

Yet another bundle has come around. Bundlestars.com is one of the newest sites to get in on bundles. We will be going over the bundle itself and this new site.

What is Bundle Stars?

Bundle Stars is run by Focus Multimedia. Focus Multimedia puts out a wide variety of cheap PC shovelware. They put out software such as:

• Bad Piggies
• Driving Test L
• The Nancy Drew series
• Bratz games

As you can see, they are doing this to make some extra money. This is not for charity.

The Bundle Stars games

Let us go over the games a bit. All of them are from very small developers. If this is your kind of thing then you may find the Bundle Stars selection interesting:

• Men of War Vietnam is a fairly popular RTS game set in Vietnam.
• Off-Road Drive is an off-road racing game.
• Reign: Conflict of Nations is a strategy game of the same type as civilization.
• Death to Spies is a third-person stealth action game.
• Death Track: Resurrection is your basic combat racing game.
• Star Wolves 2 is a space RTS game with space combat.
• Real Warfare 1242 is an RTS with attention to detal.
• Real Warfare 2: Northern Crusades is yet another RTS.

You can get all of these games for $6.68 USD right now.  However Real Warfare 2 has to be unlocked on Facebook.  These games are all available on Steam.

The future of bundles like Bundle Stars

What we are currently seeing is two tiers of bundles. One that has the higher-popularity developers and one that has the lower popularity ones. Overall  it seems there is space for both right now.

However we have to wonder whether the bundle market will one day be so flooded a few will die off. If things continue like this, we may look into even doing a Nerd Age bundle ourselves.
