The Humble Bundle Roundup 1

Since the Humble Bundle is now doing multiple packages, we will start doing the Humble Bundle Roundup. We will discuss each deal for you briefly and tell you whether it is worth buying.

Humble Bundle Mobile Bundle Games

The Humble Bundle Mobile Bundle

Our verdict on this humble bundle is that it is worth it. It comes with Plants vs. Zombies and Metal Slug 3, both games we have played extensively. For six dollars it is very much worth it. Let us go down the games for you:

  • Contre Jour is a physics puzzler with an absolutely beautiful art style. Set in black and white it is a very impressive experience.
  • Anomaly Korea is the sequel to the title Anomaly Warzone Earth. If you enjoy tower offense games where you go through a gauntlet then this is for you.
  • Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense game with a lot of variety and charm. Probably the best game Popcap ever made.
  • Metal Slug 3 is an action-platformer with great art and hard-hitting gameplay. This classic is a legend by itself.
  • The Room is a point and click adventure in the style of D’s Diner. If you enjoy highly cerebral puzzlers, this is for you.
  • Bladeslinger is a third person action/brawler. If you enjoyed the Final Fight series this may be perfect for you.

Humble Bundle Weekly Sale Darksiders 2

The Humble Bundle Weekly Sale

This version of the Humble Bundle features THQ games and much controversy. Is this one worth buying? The question is, is $6.76 worth it for Darksiders 2? To many, the answer is yes. We are not fans of THQ or the games in this bundle. However it does seem like a decent deal at this price. Here is a rundown of the games:

  • Darksiders 1 and 2 the absolutely abysmal first game was highly overshadowed by the second game which was far better. You play as Death and have to save reality from destruction.
  • Red Faction: Armageddon this decidedly flashy third person shooter had a lot of significant flaws in design. However if you prefer flash over substance, this may be for you.
  • Red Faction: Guerrilla was a step forward for the series in many ways, with two steps back. It had many interesting ideas that were poorly implemented.

As you can see, the mobile bundle is a much better deal than the weekly here. But if you would like to get it for Darksiders 2 then check out the weekly site.
