Remember Me Videos and More

Today we want to bring you some Remember Me videos and more information about the game. Capcom is taking a different approach to their advertising on this game. So far much of it has little to do with the gameplay which is becoming the standard these days in the gaming PR industry.

The Remember Me Videos and Ad Campaign

As you can see from the above video they are going for a cerebral approach. A main theme of the game is that the workings of the human mind are very complex. They are also going for a modern social media approach to it. Capcom wants gamers to feel like they are part of something deeper. Grand music and philosophic musings on the human mind are part of this. Is the approach working? Well you should be the ones to tell us that.

The Rest of the Campaign

Aside from the Remember Me videos they also have an interactive site. The Antoine’s Journal site is an attempt to draw people into the story before release. It gives a cryptic look at the mind of one of the characters within. The approach is a strange one with oddly set up pictures among other things. We assume they want the gamer to feel as if they are playing a deeper game than normal. We aren’t quite sure what to make of the whole thing so decide yourself.

The Remember Me Release

Remember Me will be coming out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America on June 4th and will be available in Europe on June 7th. Whether the game lives up to this hype is still up in the air. It will take some seriously deep storytelling to really make the game as interesting as they have made it out to be.
