Remember Me – A New Property from Capcom

Remember Me is a new third person action game from Capcom. It is noteworthy for an interesting art style and the fact that it is, well, not a rehash of something.

Remember Me or Blade Runner?

This game centers around a woman who has lost her memory. However she also has the ability to control the memories of others. She can change who a person is and how they think by altering their memory. As a result a massive organization wants her controlled. You have to defeat hordes of enemies while searching for your memory.

Remember Me Backgrounds

You have a variety of allies including someone named Edge. Never trust someone who says to at the start of a game. Especially someone named Edge. The game centers around “Memory Hunters” that can delve into minds. The game takes place in “Neo Paris” where we assume they have Neo French Bread and Neo snooty waiters.

The Gameplay of Remember Me

We honestly are not all that sure about this game. It looks a lot like Devil May Cry. The twist that is claimed is that you can alter the memories of NPC characters. This will cause enemies to become friends or possibly vice versa. We will have to see how this shapes up. Hopefully the system will have a lot of flexibility. It would be nice to see a game where you can just turn everyone into your friend. Or perhaps just have them kill each other.

More on Remember Me

While we are glad to see a new property, it is a bit worrying to not see any huge innovation. We hope to cover the game more later and see what, if any, twists are added. As usual you can check out Capcom Unity for later updates. Or just check back with us.
