Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies is finally coming over to the North American shores. In this game you play as both Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice in different segments. It was originally going to come over as Ace Attorney 5 although they decided to take this name instead.

In this game you use the double-screen functionality of the 3DS to full effect. A new character known as Athena Sykes has a “mood matrix” on one screen that helps you tell how someone is feeling. This helps you shape your questions to fit the matrix.
The Story of Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies
Someone has destroyed the court in this game and Phoenix Wright makes his return to set it right. He teams up with Apollo Justice to figure out what has gone wrong. Their main antagonist early on is Gaspen Payne who is the younger brother of Winston Payne from earlier titles.
Bringing Phoenix Back
The main reason why Capcom probably made Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies is that people did not like seeing Apollo Justice usurp his position. Many people wanted to continue playing as their favorite attorney. It looks like this was their answer to those complaints. For our part we are also happy to see Wright return. It really is what many fans wanted for the game.
The Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies Release
The game itself is slated for a Fall 2013 release in both North America and Europe. We expect it to be priced in a similar manner to other 3DS games. However an exact release date has yet to be nailed down. We will probably bring you more details later on as they are released. Even if we had one now it would be highly subject to change and not of much use to you.
