P.A.W.S or Prime Alien Watch Squad is getting some attention by authorities in the indie industry so we’ve decided to do a bit on it for you as well. It’s a simple but nicely animated game where you play as some cute creatures defending their world from invaders.
The P.A.W.S. Game
The game itself has a simple turn-based interface. Each character has movement and attack stats and you use different tactics against different invaders. In many ways it’s a very simple game suited for younger players and mobile users.
One stat governs your health, movement and even damage. The main draw for the game centers around grabbing in-game currency to buy special weapons. They promise to have a large variety of these over time.
This casual puzzle game has a variety of stages where you have to use your base soldiers and buffs in the right order. If you like this genre then it is probably a good fit for you all around. It’s also somewhat amusing to watch the some creatures similar to Care Bears fight off an alien invasion.
Why Did We Cover P.A.W.S.?
This is not normally the type of game we cover here. We saw and were recommended this game by some passionate people in the industry and the developers themselves. That matters quite a bit with us. For example their artist “Neofotistou” is a somewhat famous artist who is breaking into Ludum Dare and other development. Do we think that’s worth your interest? Yes.
