In K episode 10, HOMRA has taken over the Ashinaka High School in order to find Shiro. Scepter 4 surrounds the school after hearing about HOMRA taking over the school. Shiro and his group decide to help their schoolmates with the Homra problem. Suoh and Munakata meet up and to talk about what a fight between kings could mean to Suoh.
The animosity between Fushimi and Yata makes more sense now since they used to be partners. I do not understand Fushimi’s reasoning though, since he still acts like a gangster even though he is with Scepter 4. While the others follow the law Fushimi goes against them to rough people up and break into school files. He is not doing anything special with his powers despite changing sides. Rebelling against the rules might be a sign that Fushimi does not like the group he is in now either. Maybe he will keep leaving and joining kings until he finds one that uses their power in a way that he likes.
Munakata trying to convince Suoh not to fight Shiro was pretty touching. While most of the time Munakata acts like he does not like Suoh, he at least respects him as a rival. Munakata does everything in his power to keep Suoh from destroying himself fighting Shiro, even to the point of promising to kill Shiro. However Suoh wants Munakata to kill Shiro. When Munakata called Suoh a friend at the end it was a really nice touch. The relationship between Munakata and Suoh is one of the better parts of this show. With all the sexual tones it is funny and this time it even managed to be touching. It is way better than the way the show tried to make us feel something for Totsuka.
Three more episodes before the end, the big battle between Shiro’s group and Homra is in place. That should not take three episodes though, so I wonder what else is in store. For one thing, the fox mask matter needs to be settled. I am also hoping that some of the others kings show up since there is about to be a big battle between two kings. Good to know even at this late point that the colorless king has a different power every time. Shiro’s power will probably be revealed soon, since there will be a big battle.
