In Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure episode 15 is a very violent episode. This the part of the Battle Tendency arc where the villains show how brutal they are. This is much-needed for obvious reasons. Persian homosexual men would probably be insulted by how outlandish the costumes of the villains are.
The Rundown of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 15
In this episode Caesar and Joseph both get absolutely destroyed. Neither one of them can handle a single member of the villain’s team. They just get annihilated. This is cliche in manga and anime these days, but I believe it was necessary here.
Joseph reveals his new weapon, the crackers. These steel balls will be his trademark in this series. Sadly you will not see them in series three. He manages to injure wham in a minor way before getting absolutely devastated by Wham’s wind powers. Hilariously, even while injured Wham gives a sultry look. This is something hilarious that Araki always liked to do for reasons I have yet to understand. Just take a look below.
Joseph manages to just barely survive by appealing to Wham’s pride. Wham believes Joseph to be beneath him which is useful. After crushing both heroes, Wham puts a ring around Jojo’s heart. AC/DC also puts a ring around his heart as well. Joseph has one month to gain enough power to defeat his enemies. Otherwise he will die swiftly.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 15, the manga and Araki being ahead of his time
Having Moe men is something Araki likes to do a lot. His most effeminate characters are often some of the strongest ones. However it threw off some western readers at the time. Now it fits right in, because everyone does strange looking characters who are effeminate yet brutally strong. While it is certainly odd, you could say Araki was ahead of his time when he wrote the manga years upon years ago.
Where the series goes from here
We are hoping that they will finish this arc well. It seems unsure as to whether they will be able to get through the third series in a good amount of time. Hopefully decent sales of the blu-ray will lead to them finishing all of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
