Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure episode 11 is incredibly action packed for the second show of the Battle Tendency arc.
Watch out or there will be trouble.
The Rundown of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Episode 11
Joseph has his awesome fight with Straights. Grenades, hostages and more all take part. Joseph finally defeats Straights in the end, who kills himself with his own ripple. Being young was all he wanted.
Meanwhile it is revealed that Speedwagon survived and is being interrogated by Nazi assailants. We meet Stroheim, and evil but very cool character who inspired Guile in SF2.
The episode ends with the Nazi army doing something very foolish. They have decided to awaken the man in the pillar with more blood. As you can imagine, this won’t end well.
My thoughts on why Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is not getting much attention
Compared to some shows, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure has been overlooked. The reason behind this is obvious; people already know what will happen. It is understandable that it would be hurt by that.
I think we should also give some credit to the high level of accuracy the team has given to the story. That makes it worth watching even for people like me, who know Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure inside and out.
Not 100% on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
That being said I can understand why some people have minor gripes. It is in fact less bloody and has some minor things excluded. Nothing is perfect, but this is very much a case of being close enough.
The new opening is amazingly good.
Not enough girls in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
Ironically, the Moe trend is holding some fans back. What is amusing is that many of the characters have Moe poses early on. Unfortunately they are almost all men. If you are looking for cute girls doing cute things and making cute noises, this is not the place.
As a result a lot of the male fanbase this might have had years ago is gone. And why I will hate the Moe girl trend to my grave. There are a few cute girls here and there, but Araki tries to convey a sense of strength in his female characters.
Girl Power
What is also strange is why more women wouldn’t like this series. Araki does have a few damsels in distress, be he also has many extremely strong female characters. From Lisa Lisa to Lucy Steel, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure practically drips with respect for women. It is something to consider.
Keep up the quality
So far they have done a great job with this installment. I hope that the villains of this turn out to be every bit as grand in the animation as they were in the manga. If so then it will be absolutely fantastic.
