Indie Royale St. Patrick’s Day Bundle Released

Indie Royale has released their newest bundle. While there are some decent games, they seem to have little to do with the theme.

The lucky games for the Indie Royale St. Patrick’s day event

  • Hard Reset is a cyberpunk FPS game. An indie game from a very talented studio, it never received as much acclaim as people thought. It is still quite a decent game.
  • Jolly Rover is a puzzle game in the style of Monkey Island. While fairly well done, the style of the (furry) characters is off-putting to some.
  • Vertex Dispenser a simple puzzle game that works using vertices. The game can be quite beautiful at times.
  • DLC Quest is a very well done and fun platformer. You buy a variety of upgrades such as having animation. You even have to buy the ability to jump and move left. The only shortcoming of this game is that it is a bit too short. We would love to see a larger game from them due to it’s humor and sheer fun.
  • Lair of the Evildoer is a fairly standard shoot-em-up with RPG mechanics. The game is quite nice in it’s content. You have a good amount of weapons and options with your characters.

Good luck from Indie Royale

At the time of this writing, the current minimum is $4.78 USD. Be sure to check out their site for more details. If they get some more donations they will release this game:

  • Vertex Vortex Remix Cortex is a remix of Vertex Dispenser. It uses some of the same graphics for a new style of gameplay.

Where does the Indie Royale money go?

The money for Indie Royale always goes to the industry. It is hosted by Desura and Gamasutra, so they take the lions share. The rest goes to producers. So this bundle is for those who want to support the industry directly.
