The current Indie Royale All-Charity Lightning Pack is quite nice. This time they let the game developers choose their charity. Also, all proceeds after credit card fees go to the charities. We will be going down each game and the charity they chose.
Indie Royale Games – Osmos
Osmos is one of our favorite games in the bundle. You play as a creature similar to an amoeba, and you absorb other creatures into you. It gets complicated because you often have other creatures trying to drag you in. Hemisphere Games supported UNICEF because they believe in the UNICEF Hatian relief efforts among other things.
Indie Royale Games – B.U.T.T.O.N.
B.U.T.T.O.N. is a 2-8 player party game. Ideally, you use controllers for it in order to get the full experience. It is quite a bit out of the ordinary. Copenhagen Game supports the Electronic Frontier Foundation because they believe in online freedom for everyone.
Indie Royale Games – The Shivah
The Shivah is a very, very off-the-wall game. You play as a grizzled Jewish Rabbi who has seen it all. H e knows how the mean streets work, and has to survive on them. This action-thriller-mystery will let you keep your whole seat, but you’ll only need the edge. Wadjet Eye Games chose ActionAid because they want to help them end poverty.
Indie Royale Games – Blueberry Garden
A very interesting experimental game comes to us from Erik Svendang. It delivers an interesting twist on normal gameplay. You never know what will happen next in this game. Erik supports Amnesty International because they help political prisoners.
