Humble Indie Bundle for Android - Beep Boop - Nerd Age
04
Humble Indie Bundle is doing something different this time around. At first we were hesitant to cover something for mobile devices. However these games also have PC versions of their games.
New to the Humble Indie Bundle?
If you haven’t been into the indie scene until just recently you may not have heard of this site. Humble Indie Bundle is a website where you can get games very inexpensively and support charity. It is also a place for developers to showcase their skills.
What is new about this Humble Indie Bundle
The bundle is popular for many reasons, including it being multi-platform. Previously users could enjoy the games on Windows, Macintosh and Linux. In this edition you get all of those and mobile versions.
Anomaly: Warzone Earth
This is the anti-defense. Instead of building the towers and stopping hordes, you are the horde. You have to disable towers and safely guide your convoy through hostile territory. It also has a nice art style.
Osmos
You play an amoeba-like creature. You attempt to devour other creatures of different colors while not getting devoured yourself. This deceptively simple game has some challenging levels. It’s harder than you think to consume the competition and become the supreme being.
Edge
In this Humble Indie Bundle entry, you are a simple cube. However, you are also sentient and can control your own destiny. Part puzzle game and part platformer, you can get quite a challenge as well. Be square, but also be alive at the end as the very level tries to defeat you.
World of Goo
World of Good is a major seller with a great art style. You use goo droplets and physics to get through each level. It has a surprising depth of gameplay and is quite fun overall.
Wrapping up
They always like to do a cheesy video for the games. Be sure to check out their site and see if you are interested. You can split your donation however you want, but you only get World of Good if you pay more than the average.
