As we always asserted, competition is a very good thing in the gaming world. Due to the huge amount of competition the Humble Indie Bundle has been receiving they have upped the ante. This one features some of the best games we’ve ever seen in any bundle.
As usual these games with all be multi-platform, several of which are making debuts. We’ve played all of these games and we can tell you that they are indeed very good. It even includes the famous but even better Cave Story +.

Night Sky HD – An HD update of a really great and artistic platformer.
Shank – An excellently animated Hack-and-Slash fest. It has some very over-the-top kills and a story that plays like Kill Bill.
Super Meat Boy – A very famous platformer in the indie circles. This is the platformer that many developers aspire to make, and was massively popular. You can get it now for a much cheaper price than usual.
Bit.Trip Runner – An indie platformer which runs to a different beat. Both the visuals and the sound add to the excellent atmosphere of this game.
Jamestown – A very well-animated 2d shmup in homage to some classic games. If you dig retro shoot-em-ups then this is the game for you.

Cave Story+ – This game is so famous to indie gamers that it needs no introduction. One of the greatest games of all time has received updated content. If you’ve already played it, you should know how good this game is.
Gratuitous Space Battles – A truly fun space destruction game. The game delivers what the name promises, over the top explosions and huge fleets. If this is your style then you’ll love this game.
