Dead Rising 3 This Name is Too Long Edition Announced

The full name is Super Ultra Dead Rising 3′ Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX + α. And it has a new launch trailer with costumes for pretty much everyone. It appears to be an additional mode in Dead Rising 3 where 4 people can play in co-op combat and use super moves while collecting power-ups.

The mode is going to feature a ton of costumes. These will include Felicia outfits for some men so as to not be sexist. Men dressing as women, women dressing as men and explosions everywhere. Your moves also seem to change based on which outfit you are wearing.

A Decidedly Sillier Tone

While Dead Rising 3 rarely took itself seriously it looks like this is going to get even more out of hand. From the footage we have seen so far it looks like the mode will play like Dynasty Warriors. Larger enemies and huge fights are the order of the day with this.

Dead Rising 3 and Bonus Stages

Apparently the game is even going to have bonus stages that include races and other mini-games. This might add some useful variety to the overall game.

The Dead Rising 3 Mode Out Now

Xbox Live users can get the update right now. We are unsure as to whether it will be available on the PC version at release. We sure hope it is though because this looks like the best part of the game so far. The trailer for PC showed no hint as to that so it may not come out on launch. We are sure it will be coming out sometime after though.

More Capcom E3 Reveals

While this is pretty nice it hopefully will not be the only big reveal for E3 coming out. We will be keeping our eyes on the Capcom Unity channel as usual. They seem to be padding it with filler until the next big reveal. Hopefully that will be coming sometime soon as well.
