Several of these games have Steam trading cards and are from some big-name developers as well. Here is a quite overview to save you time:
- Knytt Underground is part of an extensive Knytt universe. Teleportation and stark but beautiful graphics round this game out.
- Captain Morgana and the Golden Turtle is a point-and-click adventure in the style of Monkey Island. Character development and singular humor round out the game.
- Kairo is a surreal exploration game where you discover an amazing world filled with mystical machinery.
- Gravity Badgers is a physics puzzler with a decidedly funny and bizarre theme.
- Holy Avatar Vs. Maidens of the Dead is a spin-off of Grotesque Tactics which basically parodies an already comedic universe. If you are a fan of the series this may be worth checking out.
- Bionic Dues is probably our favorite of the lineup. Not only does it have cards but it’s a hardcore turn-based roguelike dungeon explorer.
Sites like this are how many developers round out their money. In a genre with so much competition it can be hard to stay afloat without multiple streams of income like this. So we think many of these bundles are worth covering.
