The Bundle in a Box has an “Eclectic” selection this time around. We will be going over some of the games and talk about the charities this bundle supports.
The Games of the “Eclectic Delights” Bundle in a Box
They have a better selection of different games this time. Previous bundles have been a bit heavy on the pointing and clicking. Let us take a look at the variety:
- Shadows of the Vatican is a mandatory point and click adventure. At least this one has a very nice art style.
- Delve Deeper is an interesting take on the dungeon exploration genre with many RPG elements.
- War of the Human Tanks is a really bizarre turn-based strategy game. Pit chibi characters against one another in bizarre combat.
- Eversion is a classic indie platformer. This one is noteworthy for disturbing visuals and being one of the early, popular indie platformers.
- Fibrillation is an FPS puzzler which boasts to have “Over 600 ugly birds.” Well, alright then.
There are also several bonus games for those who pay over the average:
- The Adventures of Shuggy is an FPS platformer with co-op and tons of content.
- Stay Dead is a bizarre mix of FMV and fighting games. They tried this before on Sega CD, hopefully this will be better.
- The 4th Wall is a bizarre first-person horror game with a trippy style.
- Flibble is a top-down action game which plays to the art style of classic Atari games.
- Skylight is an FPS platformer with an interesting world generation mechanic.
- You can also get a pre-order for Shadows on the Vatican 2 and other bonuses may be coming up, such as various soundtracks.
Overall this is quite a large bundle. While few of these names are big-name players, there are many enjoyable titles in this Bundle in a Box.
The Bundle in a Box Charities
The Indie Dev Grant gives $10 USD for every 100 sales. This lets you support your developers directly. The other major charity is the Hellenic Centre for Mental Health and Treatment of Child and Family. They focus mostly on helping autistic children.
