As we have reported before, Worms is going to be having water physics. There are also going to be physics objects. We are pretty excited about this, as water will no longer just be a static hazard. As you see in the above image, there are now unexploded bombs and other items.
The various objects of Worms Revolution
Water, flames and many other items are now part of the battlefield. Let us go down a few:
- Some items, such as bombs and lighters, spray fire on the field
- Some items contain water which you can release to drown worms
- There are also toxic items which poison worms
It looks like this will lead to some impressive combos. You will likely be able to land a great explosive shot that detonates a bomb and knocks them into a water object.
Worms Revolution Water Weapons
There are also going to be water weapons. There will be water balloons and watergun fights, all in a desperate bid to drown the enemy worm. Water will also flow and be persistent, so you will be able to use it to kill worms in hidden areas. Overall this should really switch up the current dynamic of the game.
The Game is Shaping up
There are also going to be natural sections of water than might be dammed up. You can destroy these blockages to get the water flowing on your opponents. Hopefully we will see even more changes to the standard formula.
