Witch Craft Works
Witch Craft Works starts with an average high school boy who is constantly bothered by being around a very popular girl. Then come to find out that the popular girl is always around him on purpose to guard him because he is her “princess.” Honoka then has to deal with Ayaka being around him even more and her fanclub getting pissed. All this because for some reason witches are after him.
Not much of a story so far in this show. The only thing explained is why the popular girl is following him. There are battles where the only reasoning is that the other witch wants him. Why would the viewer want to know anything more?
Ending is the best part with the witches singing while being put through the tortures reserved for witches. It is the most creative part and the funniest as well. If only the rest of the show was like the ending.
Overall nothing all that interesting about Witch Craft Works so far. Not interested in watching the witch take care of her “princess” by burning everything in sight for a whole season.

D-Frag
D-Frag starts with a group of delinquents lead by Kenji. The group is about to try to take over the school when they find a fire in a club room and help put it out. Unfortunately the fire was in the Game Creation Club room. The game creation club then uses the powers of their “types” to over power the guys except for the leader. The leader they pursue until he eventually joins their club.
D-Frag spends most of the time showing off the personalities of the girls in the Game Creation Club. That was a good use of time since the girls are the highlight of the show and there was no big story to explain. Seeing the girls handle the boys to set the precedent for the rest of the show was nice.
The best part of D-Frag were the girls pretending to be pokemon and attacking the guys. Seeing how they used their type was interesting. The one girl making a sand castle to get dirt on her hands before punching was unexpected.
Overall D-Frag is pretty crazy. The girls in the Game Creation Club are not very likeable so far. I actually feel bad for the delinquents.
