The Tripwire Interactive Ladder Opening has happened and you can access it now. We want to go over this interesting new site and what you can get from it.
The Tripwire Interactive Ladder Opening after Beta
For a while now this site has been in a beta for testing. However now it is fully operational and ready for competitive Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad play. Three tournaments are running to celebrate the kickoff. These are:
- RO2 Territory Classic Ladder – With prizes between $1,000 and 250 USD this is the traditional way to play RO2.
- RO2 Countdown Realism Ladder which has the same prizes and does the Realism mode.
- Finally there is the Stalingrad Cup which is a “knockout” style of tournament with smaller prizes equaling $1,000. This one is smaller but you also have to spend less time with it.
The total prize money comes to $5,000 for those who want to get involved. The site itself supports tournament play and standalone gaming for various clans. If you and your team love this game then this might be a good choice for you.
Joining in on the Competitive Scene
While competitive gaming only pays huge dividends to the biggest winners it is still highly accessible for many people. Most games, including this one, have teams that run the gamut from incredible to no better than an average person.
