We are a Little Puzzled by Tribes PaperKraft
That is right, their newest promotion is Tribes PaperKraft figures. Basically it is just a site where you can make paper cut-outs of the tribes characters. We are scratching our heads here more than a bit. Some people are claiming that this is a way to troll some of the fanbase, which would be very effective. I am trolled, personally. But let us move on with more important news.
Not Much More to Say About Tribes PaperKraft
Basically you just go to their site and download the figures. Then you fold these characters into the various shapes you want. Then they want you to play around with the figures along with their friends and record it. Sorry, you won’t be seeing any Nerd Age entries. While this isn’t our type of thing, the figures are nicely done. You have a Diamond Sword figure, a Blood Eagle figure and a few flags for you to put together. If this is your type of thing, you probably should go ahead and get some of them together with friends.
The Gotta Go Fold Contest
Apparently they will also be having a contest.You simply make some real-life images or videos using the figures from the site. The judges figure out which ones are the best. Then you win fabulous prizes, which include:
- You can get a prize pack for the top two in each category which would would include T-shirts, Masks, Key Chains and Stickers.
- The winner in each category gets 5,000 Tribes gold.
If this sounds good to you, you should go ahead and take a crack at it. We have our own opinions about the contest, but we’ll keep those to ourselves. If you really love Ascend, be sure to check out their main site as usual.
