In Sword Art Online episode 10 Kirito makes up with his sister Sugu and then they work on making it to the top of the World Tree. Fortunately the Cait Sith and Sylph groups come with their strongest gear to help him get to the top. Even with their help they can only get Kirito to the top. After Kirito gets to the top he finds out that the door is locked unless a system admin tries to open it.
This episode of Sword Art Online really makes me dislike Sugu. Sugu falls in love with the boy she grew up with, which is doomed to failure. That love was all Kirito’s fault though, according to Sugu. He should not have been so nice to her. Sugu makes a big deal out of it and everyone should feel sorry for her. Her friend Recon falls for her and confesses and instead of being nice about it Sugu punches him in the head. Why are Recon’s feelings so vile that he deserves to be hit? Sugu thinks everyone should feel bad for her, but does not have the slightest bit of feeling for anyone else. That really makes me dislike her character.
Recon, even after being horribly shot down by Sugu, still goes out of his way to help her. Upon finding out that this mission is really important Recon uses black magic with a steep death penalty to clear out the area. It was very nice of him especially since they have not fully explained to him what is going on. Recon could have been trying to show Sugu how awesome and hardcore he is to impress her, but even if that is the case Sugu does not deserve him.
The quest past the guards in Sword Art Online being unbeatable is such a mess. In the real world if no one was able to make it to the end of a game within a certain amount of time the company would have so many complaints coming at them that they would have to alter it to make it beatable. They could not just have a door that no one but admin could make it through because someone would get proof out and people would stop buying the game. Of course even with quests that are unbeatable and doors that should be locked Kirito makes it through.
Cat people get to ride dragons, so why would anyone be another race?
I guess maybe to get a big Sylph chest like Sakuya.
