In Sword Art Online episode 19 Kirito and Asuna are on their way to the World Tree, but they are stopped by the Salamanders. Even after they reach safety, Asuna learns of a plot and goes to stop it.
Kirito finally learns something about magic in Alfheim Online. He is pretty whiny about it though. This would be the first time that he has had to work at all though. Things came to him very easily in Sword Art Online. He was just given a special ability for an example. When he came over to Alfheim all the skills he needed were mostly handed to him except for flying which he somehow picked up quickly. Now he actually has to work and he apparently does not like being like the gaming commoners.
Kirito does not have to get used to being common because before the episode ended he is already handed a powerful spell. Yui is just supposed to be a guide, so how does she know a spell that powerful that Spiggan are not supposed to have? They are supposed to be masters of illusions, but the monster was far from an illusion. Kirito is so used to being over powered that he does not even see anything wrong with a spell powerful enough to take out a squad of twelve by himself. So much for getting to watch Kirito struggle to learn something.
I love the cat people. I would totally play with this race of fairies.
The new battle to help the Slyphs and Cait Sith against the Salamanders should be interesting. Leafa thinks it is a suicide mission, which it should be if she were with anyone else. Kirito is unstoppable though which was shown well enough this episode, so I wonder what will help him take out tons of Salamanders this time.
