In Sword Art Online episode 16 Kirito gets into Alfheim Online after getting a tip that Asuna is there from Agil.
In this episode of Sword Art Online they show Agil in real life. He sure did pick a job in Sword Art Online that was not very different than what he was used to. Working in a cafe and selling gear in game. Not exactly what I expected and it changes my perception of him some.
Alfheim Online being a copy of Sword Art Online was a surprise. Now Kirito does not have to learn to do anything in this new game and can jump immediately into going after Asuna. I guess that will keep the pace up with the show, but as Kirito said himself it is cheating. I know Kirito did not make it so that he still had all his old skills, but it feels so cheap.
Just in case having all his skills was not enough of an advantage he has Yui as well. Yui coming back right away was not a surprise, since that was the plan all along. Her being able to tell Kirito almost everything he needs to know about Alfheim Online right away was shocking though. If this game is a copy of the same program as Sword Art Online then shouldn’t it already have something like Yui? Well Yui just added to how easy everything was for Kirito coming to a new game. Anymore good things come his way, and I will be thinking that someone is trying to help him.
The way that the computer glitched when Kirito was going to the hometown for his race does seem contrived. I wonder if there is something he is not supposed to see or do there. It could just be that he was supposed to meet up with Lyfa easily just like what happened.
I hope that in the next few episodes Kirito comes up against some kind of obstacle. Having him be handed everything he needs is just boring.
