Super Smash Bros 4 has been confirmed for 2014 at E3. As you might expect it has all the classic characters such as Mario and Pikachu. However there are already some interesting new additions to the game.
Super Smash Bros 4 and Gameplay
From what little we have seen so far the gameplay will generally be the same. You can expect Kirby with similar moves and Mario may have something a bit new. We are sure that they will be adding some new mode as well but the core seems to be unchanged.
The Changing Artstyle of Super Smash Bros 4
Flashes of color seem to be the norm in this new edition. This comes with a more realistic style for many backgrounds.
Super Smash Bros 4 Characters
The villager from animal crossing is finally in, something I have wanted for a long time. Megaman is also in with his classic costume. People have also been looking for that for quite a while. Some gamers had speculated Capcom was giving up on Nintendo but that is clearly not the case. Perhaps we can get some new Megaman titles out for the Wii U.
As for what the characters do the villager fights with items from his game as you would expect. Megaman seems to have a large variety of abilities based on previous weapons. It will be interesting to see how he switches to each one. In previous guest appearances he had people throw him power-ups and such.
The Super Smash Bros Fourth Edition Release
Right now it will be coming out in 2014 and that is all we know so far. It probably won’t be any time early in 2014 because they need to tease all the characters. But then it just would not be Smash Bros if Sakuraiiiii didn’t tease out some characters. Be sure to keep an eye on the official smash site.
