In the latest Street Fighter X Tekken trailer, Rufus gets a little bit confused about someone’s identity.
In this latest trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken, we get to see a very well animated and amusing fight between Bob and Rufus. They bump into each other in the men’s room and Rufus, being an idiot, mistakes Bob from Tekken for Ken. The situation is only made more amusing by the fact that Ken is actually eating upstairs with Ryu.
It is actually nice to see a non-cryptic trailer from Capcom on this. They have taken an odd route with promotion as far a this game goes. They keep switching between cryptic, blurry and sometimes confusing trailers then sending out perfectly edited and magnificent videos like this.
Another big part of many of these videos is that they have something interesting in the background. In some videos it is pac man, in this video it is the fact they are fighting in Marshall Law’s diner. We can only hope that this is another character reveal, but nothing has been confirmed yet. It would only make sense if Law were to show up.
You can also check out a full view of Zangief in action as he blushes over being grabbed by Tekken’s Michelle. Of course he cannot resist her and dives straight at he later on, after she shows her actual fighting skill. We get the feeling that Street Fighter X Tekken is going to have a bit of a lighter feel than most fighters.
However all of these cameos raise a question. Haggar, Dan and many others have cameos, but will they even be playable in the final version of the game? It could be that they will be in the background, which would be disappointing. On the other hand, if they all end up in the game this could be one truly massive fighter.
