Soda Drinker Pro is getting some big attention and new levels are being added. We want to go over about where the game is going in the future as well.
Soda Drinker Pro and a Hidden Game
Soda Drinker Pro has a hidden game inside it called Vivian Clark. In this non-traditional adventure you become whatever you fall on. So you may be a raindrop that falls on a bird and becomes it. Then you get in a spaceship and later become a star. This can go on seemingly indefinitely. This is a type of gameplay that we really have not seen much of before.
This game is so interesting that they have a Kickstarter running for it: Sodastarter Pro. Be sure to support them if you find the game interesting.
Soda Drinker Pro and New Levels
The developer has been steadily releasing new levels in small doses. It will be quite interesting to see where both games go. A few of the games in here were also featured in Mashable. This game is steadily gaining support over time.
What About Steam Greenlight?
Unfortunately the game has been dubbed incompatible with Steam Greenlight. However that does not mean the course of the game is over. There are many outlets such as Desura that they can go to. The fan base is very dedicated to seeing this game succeed as well.
What Soda Drinker Pro Teaches Others
Other developers could stand to learn from this as well. As long as you have an original idea and present it reasonably to people you will get attention. Even if your game is not the next monolithic work of art you can find success. Also you should reach out to media of all sizes if you want your game to excel.
