Sine Mora is a noteworthy shooter for one reason: Grasshopper Manufacture. They have done many good games in the past such as Killer 7 and No More Heroes. Now they have a unique shmup coming out with a very impressive art style.
What makes Sine Mora stand out from other shoot ’em ups
The main draw of Sine Mora is that there will be planes, characters and time manipulation devices to choose from. You can choose from each one and mix them to create different ships. This is a feature common of the best modern shoot ’em up (shmups in hardcore circles). It also has the standard scaling difficulty found in the best shmups.
The story of Sine Mora
This game has a story common to many shmups. The Layil empire has delved into the manipulated time and unlocked things they shouldn’t have. You must defeat abominations and other ships in order to set reality right. And to free the people of the empire from an iron grip.
Noteworthy names working on the music of Sine Mora
Akira Yamaoka is working on the music. His best credits include the Silent Hill series and Shadows of the Damned. You can expect some very nice songs in a beautiful package from this game. Another noteworthy name is Mahiro Maeda. He is best known for the very impressive animation sequence in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Volume 1. Mahiro will be designing the boss encounters in conjunction with Grasshopper Manufacture. We are expecting big things from two such impressive people, due to their previous work.
