With a big fan-base people have some equally large expectations for Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero.
We’ll Make Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero Anyway
One thing that has left us a bit surprised is that they have already confirmed the game on multiple platforms. These include:
- Xbox One
- Wii U
- PS4
- Steam
So they are making the game no matter how well their Kickstarter does. What does this mean? The Kickstarter is for getting them a large budget to put the game out. We are seeing this happen with many games on Kickstarter.
Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero Shows Something Dangerous
So what does that mean for developers? You can put out the main game yourself and rely on crowd-funding. If the big companies take advantage of this then we will see companies like EA using it. Sound impossible or at least improbable? It could easily be done by the larger company setting up a smaller one as their indie face. While this has little bearing on the game it is interesting to note.
The Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero Gameplay
You can expect much of the gameplay of the previous games with a large variety of new dances and ways to use your hair. The game follows Shantae through her early roots and is a bit of a prequel in a way.
The Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero Stretch Goals
Since the Kickstarter is all about getting the money for additional features they have only revealed a few. These include:
- Playing as Risky Boots in her own special game mode.
- A new chapter for you to play with a new transformation.
- Costume changes with different stats and looks.
