After Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai! I am left saying, what the hell just happened? This particular one is about idols who end up becoming female wrestlers. But basically it’s just about the Ecchi. Moments of fondling, nudity and talking about “it hurts” happen all the time in this show.
The Story of Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!
Kazama Rio plays the part of the villain for a bit as she bullies the girls for disrespecting wrestling. Elena causes a spiral of events that leads her and her rival/friend Sakura to join in pro wrestling. It’s a rather flimsy excuse to have girls hurt other girls and make it look like they are moaning in joy. Sakura loses a hair vs hair match early on which forces her to cut her hair and try even harder. Elena comes in as she has to follow her friend and rival. Everything escalates from there.
What and What Not to Watch Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai! For
Don’t watch it for being a decent sports show. Because well, it isn’t really. There are some okay interactions with the girls but those aren’t groundbreaking either. If you like hardcore Ecchi where the girls are put in compromising positions all the time then this is for you. It does not fall flat on having women in somewhat sexual positions with the excuse that they are fighting. The art in that part is not bad either.
Well this is just getting really out of hand here.
Final Verdict 3/5 Good Ecchi, Bad Sports
Unfortunately this show does nothing that sports shows have not already done. It does however have some nice art and should appeal nicely to that demographic. However we had to dock it some points for not doing both very well. It does try to tack on some real things from wrestling but it seems thrown in and not genuine. It ends up being a bit underwhelming. However it’s not terrible for shows of this type.
