Here is our Sanctum 2 review where we tell you all about how the game is improved. This game has really become the full and excellent game that Sanctum 1 should have been.
Sanctum 2 Gameplay Improvements
The game has new towers and a perk system for you to enjoy along with multiple characters. Each character has their own method of fighting including a robotic Sniper known as SiMo, shotgun-wielding Hawkins (my favorite) and rocket-launching Sweet. Each character has their own abilities such as setting enemies aflame or doing more damage on critical hits. You also level up as time goes along garnering new perks and towers. It really gives you something to play for. The new classes also lend to new gameplay combinations since each character has their own unique abilities.
A New Wave of Enemies
The game also has new types of enemies with “Feats of Strength” that make waves harder so you get more experience. This gives the game a new difficulty that changes on the fly. That is something quite useful for experienced players.
Graphics and Sanctum 2
The graphics have also been polished with better textures and weapon blasts. The game looks quite a bit better than the previous incarnation. While perhaps not at AAA level the game looks extremely good anyway.
Final Verdict 4/5- Much like other great games Sanctum 2 has improved the formula in nearly every way. From the new co-op options to the character perks it is just more fun in every way you could imagine. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that it does not add anything to the gameplay we have not seen before, much like many other games. Still it is an excellent game and we would highly recommend it. Sanctum 2 is available for PC and Xbox Live for $14.99 USD or 1200 Microsoft Points. The PSN version will also be out shortly.
