It is very strange to see the times changing back to the old days of PC gaming. Sanctum 2 and many other games are getting expansion packs. They are perhaps not quite so robust as they always were back on PC but they are still quite significant. We want to explore what is coming in this Sanctum 2 expansion titled “Road To Elysion”.
The Sanctum 2 Road To Elysion Content
This DLC expansion comes with quite a bit of new content:
- TSYGAN who is a new playable character we know little about
- A Gatling Laser and another weapon are being added
- Two new towers including a Range Spire which buffs range to nearby towers
- Four new maps
- Improved enemies for a better challenge
- New perks including one that gives you a robotic pet. Hopefully he won’t be as annoying as some other robotic mascots
It looks like all the areas that really count have been improved by this update. The Range Spire looks particularly useful considering how good the buff tower already is. We are fairly excited to see what the new story additions are. This will be far from the only Sanctum 2 expansion because four different pieces of DLC are confirmed. They will be making these part of the Sanctum 2 Season Pass which is coming later. It will be priced at $11.99. Enhancements to enemies include monsters that heal others. Some can also buff other creatures to increase their stats. Finally there will be a new boss type which is a flying boss, out to make a mockery of your well-planned maze.
Getting the Sanctum 2 Expansion
To get the Sanctum 2 Road to Elysion content you will have to sign into Steam or Xbox Live. From there it is either $3.99 or 1200 MS points on June 26th. We can only hope the future expansions add as much content as this one.
