Samurai Flamenco episode 18 explains what Alien Flamenco wants from the people of Earth. After Samurai Flamenco turns him down there is a fight in space. After Samurai Flamenco wins he talks with the universe’s will which was responsible for all the events that have happened. All the events were things that Samurai Flamenco wished for and the universe’s will wants Flamenco to decide if he wants to continue fighting or return to his normal life. As expected Flamenco chooses to return to his normal life.
Alien Flamenco wanted to fulfill a pretty typical villain wish to force people into something, which is supposed to bring peace. Unfortunately even if the aliens do know better people do not want to be told to change. They want to make their own decisions even if they are wrong. The aliens seemed pretty sure of themselves, but how would they know that evolution would bring peace? Also if they are trying to achieve peace messing with the planet the way they have with villains and invasions is not a good way to do it. If they had approached in a more peaceful manner then the aliens might have had more success.
Samurai Flamenco has the bad habit of all the bad guys and now the universe’s will all claiming that they are behind everything. Each one of course claiming they have done more than the last since more has gone on in the story. It is getting a bit predictable that when Samurai Flamenco has a talk with someone new that is not an ally that they will claim to be behind everything bad that has happened. Hopefully this trend will stop with the universe’s will granting Samurai Flamenco’s every wish.
Once again it feels like Samurai Flamenco should be over, but there is another episode. Now the will of the universe has said that Flamenco will live a peaceful and his story will be filed away. What more is there to happen? Are they just going to drag this out or have a whole episode that is about him going back to his old life of correcting the small problems? Hopefully the idea of keeping this show going will not ruin what the writers have achieved so far. So many different types of sentai have been brought to life in one show in a celebration of the genre. The last part of this show needs to be done right.
