Samurai Flamenco episode 17 is about taking on the Prime Minister to end the bill against vigilantes. Samurai Flamenco gets away with Gotou to a secret hideaway and finds out that all his old friends are still there to back him up. Even Mr. Justice is there to help him get to the Prime Minster. Samurai Flamenco gets to the Diet Building and takes on random guys with the help of Gotou to get to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minster pulls out his special suit that gets more powerful the more people support him. Unfortunately for him he is being secretly recorded so the masses can hear what he is trying to hide from them. After the Prime Minster is defeated due to loss of favor another villain appears.
When Mr. Justice appeared again in Samurai Flamenco so soon after being captured I was suspecting that things were not right. When Mr. Justice was unmasked as the new villain I was a bit disappointed. I sure hope that there really is a Mr. Justice that helped out Samurai Flamenco and it wasn’t all a lie. He was awesome.
Having the Flamenco Girls back was nice, but they do not feel like they still have a place in the show. At least not with the same abilities they had before. Everyone has gotten better equipment and they are still in the past with their maces and ball kicks. Hopefully if they help out with the alien menace they will upgrade their weapons as well.
I am pretty glad that the government is not the final villain of Samurai Flamenco. It does seem silly that the villain is once again an alien. Hopefully there is more to these aliens than just taking over for the world’s leaders. This should be the beginning of the final arc and the last major twist since this series is only supposed to be 21 episodes. It is fitting that it is ending with the same characters that started it all. It would be nice to get the full cast out one more time before the end. A lot of the television heroes did not get much time.
