Samurai Flamenco episode 15 ends the fight between the Flamengers and From Beyond. The Flamengers go on to win an award and then disband. Samurai Flamenco is going about his normal life when Mister Justice shows up to tell him that he has been lied to. Mister Justice helps him get away from the Bureau of Peace and tells Hazama why he is being hunted down. All the other heroes are being rounded up and vigilante justice is being outlawed.
Samurai Flamenco has made a big change once again. This change of the government being behind all the activities of From Beyond finally helps everything fall into place. Now it makes sense that Red Axe knew about From Beyond ahead of time. Also that the government knew about everything that was going on and was ok with it. Also the government could have gotten information about things like those guys making drugs into the hands of the police, so that the reveal of guillotine gorilla was as big as possible.
Mister Justice really made this episode. It was funny to see their interpretation of an American superhero. Most of the attacks he did were based off of sports like all the tackling and using a bat to hit one of the enemies into a helicopter. It was really too bad that they already took out Mister Justice. This arc of Samurai Flamenco would probably be better if it were the two of them running from the law together.
The change in direction is nice, but with only a few episodes left it looks like someone from the government will be the final boss of the series and that feels a bit cheap. It does not feel really appropriate to Samurai Flamenco. Hopefully it will turn out better than it looks so far, but right now it feels a bit generic.
