Rising Star Celebrates Birthday, Announces News

Rising Star games has announced a special event for being in business for 10 years.

The Rising Star Games

They of course made Deadly Premonition so no matter what happens we will hold some love in our hearts for them. Their newest game is Cloudbuilt and you can find out about it as well as other games on their site. Another noteworthy title was No More Heroes that they helped bring over.

The Rising Star Games Reveal

They have also announced plans for a bit reveal something special to celebrate on the 10th of every month in 2014. We would guess that this will include game reveals and sales as well.

The Importance of Rising Star Games

Without companies like this (and Nyu Media) many Japanese games would never have made it over. Many of the big companies in gaming are not interested in taking a chance on some smaller developers from Japan. But there are a few and Rising Star Games is one of these.

Additional upcoming projects include the 3D shooter with some unusual control mechanics Kromaia and the intriguing puzzler Tulpa that has an interesting take on the visuals of the puzzles. It looks like the company is growing more than ever now.

The Recent Rising Star Games

Interestingly enough they have been delving into a lot of European games. It looks like their niche is transferring games to America which would not have made it. Works for us.

The Rising Star Games Weekend

They are also going to be having a sale on Cloudbuilt this weekend. If the game looks good to you then give it a go. Otherwise we’ll just be looking out for the big announcements coming up. We hope that on the 10th of next month it can live up to expectations.
