It seems that Resident Evil 6 will be picking up where the others left off. New monsters and some old faces will be coming together for this beautifully animated game.
Capcom is claiming that Resident Evil 6 will be their most “ambitious, immersive and feature rich title of the series to date”. This time around we will be controlling Leon S. Kennedy once again.
This new edition takes place ten years after the Raccoon City incident. Leon is an even closer friend of the President of the United States. In fact the president has decided to reveal the fact that Umbrella and others have been wrecking the world for years.
As you might expect, the venue is brutally attacked. The president has something very bad happen to him and Leon has to make some tough decisions. At the same time Chris Redfield is in China dealing with his own biological attackers. Some force from behind the scenes is causing outbreaks all over the world.
In the end the two have to team up to end the terror and answer an important question to the fans. Who is better, the possibly gay super agent with the big time roundhouse (Leon} or the unstoppable, boulder breaking titan (Chris)?
We’ve also seen shots of a mercenary fighting off some new forms of Bio-organic weapons. He seems quite a bit like HUNK from the previous games, although his face is not a perfect match for this guy. It does seem quite likely though. This would mean that some of the most popular characters are the main ones in 6.
Resident Evil 6 will be released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. There will also be a PC version of the game later on down the line. The current release date is November 20th, 2012.
