PlanetSide 2 Harasser Update - Harassment - Nerd Age

One of the biggest updates ever for PlanetSide 2 has come into the game recently. It also included the harasser vehicle which is in a class of it’s own. This mid-size transport can even carry a max unit as cargo.

The PlanetSide 2 Harasser Update Itself

This update gets the Harasser Assault Buggy. It is a speedy and lightly armored buggy that can carry multiple units. Three players can get on one vehicle including a max. One player acts as the driver, one acts as the gunner and the final person is a passenger. The PlanetSide 2 Harasser update also includes several other additions such as:

• New weapons such as the Fracture and Raven
• There are new empire-specific helmets
• Massive balance changes to nearly all carbine and rifle-style weapons, including SMGs
• Tank armor has been increased
• AP rounds have an additional penetration quality
• Empire coloring has been improved
• Various bug fixes throughout

Overall the game is nearing a state where most of the original bugs have been ironed out. In many ways it is finally becoming the complete game that the development team has been striving for. Now we expect to see additional weapons and cosmetic additions becoming more prevalent. After all that is where most games go when they’ve finished the majority of fixes.

How the PlanetSide 2 Harasser Update Changes Things

In many ways you will see a lot more of them being purchased instead of the larger transports. This is because it gives the gunner and max more freedom than in a normal transport and gives the enemy more targets. We think this will be a big shift in the meta.
