PlanetSide 2 has had a massive update very recently. In this article we will just be going over a few of these updates for you.
Esamir, the new continent of PlanetSide 2
Esamir is a land of ice and snow. Technically it was there before, but now the gates work properly. Check out a new way to play in PlanetSide 2. As usual, it has the beautiful environments you saw before. They also put in some caps on players, which was much needed due to some confirmed shady behavior. They have also changed how they will be handling generators. They are now immune to C4, but can be disabled by anyone.
Big class changes to PlanetSide 2
- Infiltrators can now get a certification for the ammo belt
- The MAX now has one weapon of each type. This is, incredibly awesome
- Infiltrators now can get a “Recon Detect Device”
PlanetSide 2 vehicle changes
Several vehicles got new certifications for speed ups. The Flash and Sunderer specifically are faster than ever. Unfortunately, you can no longer build Jenga towers with tanks. This will be sorely missed both by those who like having fun at the expense of the team.
Some weapon changes for PlanetSide 2
The New Conglomerate machine guns do more damage now, Van Sovereignity machine guns start firing quicker. Infantry weapons in general are more accurate. Basically, they’ve buffed the general infantry guns. Overall this is a nice change, although we’re surprised that NC players need even more power.
Various bug fixes for PlanetSide 2
- Players can send messages to friends or outfits by clicking send message again
- Those using Nanoweave armor can be revived
- They are claiming that instant action buttons have been fixed. We will see
- A bug that stopped people from shooting related to the ammo belt has been fixed
