Mekakucity Actors
Makakucity Actors is about a guy that has a girl that lives in his computer. He is a hikikomori that has not left his apartment in two years until his keyboard stops working on a holiday. Then he has to go to the store to get a new one. Unfortunately while he is out the store filled with men trying to ransom hostages.
Mekakucity Actors does not make a ton of sense at this point. There is some weird shit at the beginning were two characters are inside a clock or watch. Also sometimes they are in red on top of some scribbles. Then the ‘film’ is burned and it looks like the real show starts. It feels like finally something will make sense until the ransom scene where it all goes to shit. I don’t mind the surreal things in moderation with a purpose, but this is over the top.
What the hell is that!
Even with all the crazy shit going on Mekakucity Actors is pretty boring at this point. Most of this episode was the guy having the girl inside his computer get onto him. Not very interesting and it does not help set up the story for later or introduce other characters. So it isn’t just setting up the story for later.
Overall it looks like this show is just for people who look for meaning in every weird aspect of anime. It could turn out better and I will probably check it out again if I hear it gets better.

Soredemo Sekai Wa Utsukushii
Soredemo Sekai Wa Utsukushii is about a princess from a poor country coming to marry the king of a large nation. The princess does not want to arrive with a large amount of fanfare because her nation needs their only ship and she wants to find out what her new country is like. Fortunately for her this was the right course of action since someone does not want her to marry the king and will do anything to stop her. The princess has to fight off some low level thugs, and uses them as guides since they now fear her. The princess finally makes it to the king, but he does not seem to be what she expected.
Soredemo Sekai Wa Utsukushii has a nice main character. The princess is independent and has magical powers that could be interesting. She also is not totally obsessed with a man at this point, which is nice. Hopefully she won’t start just because the king shows up.
The story is not totally new, but so far it is well done.
Overall this show has been fun so far. The characters are interesting and it sets up the story nicely. Things will probably change a lot now that the king has shown up.
