What is McPixel, and why is it so awesome?
It is a short game created by programmer SoS. It was originally created for the Ludum Dare competition. It has a variety of amusing levels in which things explode. SoS recently launched a new site for it where you can play the game.
Who is the creator of McPixel?
The creator of McPixel is one of our favorite small developers, SoS. He almost always competes at Ludum Dare, which is one of our favorite jams. He has been noted by Notch among many others and is one of many rising stars.

That’s okay because SoS has the ultimate creator’s guide for you. You do not even have to pay for the strategy guide here.It is still a bit complicated for those without experience coding. But hey, that is alright, because you can really create some interesting and/or horrifying levels with how much freedom the level editor gets you.
A real world legal lesson from McPixel, because SoS cares
SoS also details that making a level simulates a real development environment in the legal disclaimer. This is because SoS can choose to totally screw you over and not publish your levels. SoS is simply trying to get you ready for when you are in the real industry. Because if you work for the right company, they will fire you then likely besmirch your name and/or sue you for doing work they told you to do. Quite possibly if you made them millions. You should be thankful for the insight.
