Maoyuu Maou Yuusha episodes 11 and 12

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha episodes 11 and 12 are the end of the series, but still leave many loose ends. The war against the central nations is underway, but not really since they are sitting back to fight amongst themselves. The Demon King has finally awoken and she does not have her own memories. The merchants are showing what they want from the southern nations and it is pretty crafty.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha Demon King vs MaidMaoyuu Maou Yuusha True Demon King

The Female Knight in Maoyuu Maou Yuusha is supposed to keep the army occupied until winter without hurting anyone. This should be impossible. The central nations and church came to fight and take over the southern nations. Why would they just sit around biding their time when they should also know that winter is coming? If winter is going to mean a retreat then they would want to get down to fighting instead of sitting around. Even before the horses sickened why were they not going after the southern troops? Figuring out who got the southern lands should have been a problem they put off until after the war was over. In a situation where they had a large group of armed men, no food, or outlet for their aggression they could have had an uprising. In fact they probably should have.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha Dragon Princess

The fight between Hero and the Demon King ended way too easily. Hero did not have to struggle much with the Demon King to get back her  original personality. If this process has taken over many demons before then it should much harder to dislodge or else it would have most likely been done before because who would want their loved one to change into a monster? Also the Demon King is supposed to have this legendary power, but will not even fight out of an embrace. I guess I should not be surprised because this show has always avoided fighting and gone the nonviolent route. At least there was a fight with the maid that caused an arm to come off.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha Female Mage

What were they thinking throwing in Female Mage right before the end? There were shots of where she was earlier in the series, but putting Mage in to help right at the end is too contrived. She not only has just the spell to help the Hero, but also has a cure for smallpox that could help stop hostilities.
