Maoyuu Maou Yuusha episode 7 is more focused on the Hero’s relationships with women. After an episode almost completely dedicated to war this one goes in a totally opposite direction and it makes a nice change of pace from just focusing on the economics of the situation.
On the surface everything is perfect now in Maoyuu Maou Yuusha since the Bright Light Island has been reclaimed and the Winter King is focusing on the economics of the country. There are other things going on though like the man formerly in charge of Gate City getting into trouble for abandoning the city. He should have known that he could not just leave his post and have no repercussions. He does not blame himself for being a coward though, but puts all the blame on the general of the army that won Bright Light Island. Also the King of the White Night country is mad at the Winter King for taking over the command and winning Bright Light Island. The two have found each other and are plotting revenge. So while the episode is mostly peaceful and happy in the aftermath of the war there is an undercurrent of bad things coming. I have to wonder if these two will take their enemies down in battle or more covertly. Should be interesting to see.
The Knight in Maoyuu Maou Yuusha keeps going after Yuusha despite having no encouragement from Hero which is starting to get confusing. In this episode Knight gets half naked right in front of Hero and he does not show any interest or try to go after her at all. She rubs her chest up against his body and still nothing happens. How does she think she has the slightest chance after pretty much throwing herself at him and he does nothing. Hero treats her like one of the guys at all times and ignores her comment about wives and mistresses. Knight needs to get some self respect because this is getting sad. Also she is running a convent, so why is she running after a man? If she wants to be his little woman, shouldn’t she leave the convent?
That nun sure is quick to take off all her clothing.
The Demon King is really allowing a lot of stuff to go on without mentioning much. Tons of demon girls are all over Hero as the Black Knight and the dragon girl believes them to be married. Even right in front of her the Knight is trying to get with the hero and shares a bed with them. The agreement that they belonged to each other at the beginning of the show does not seem to mean much. Not that the Hero is encouraging any of these other girls, which is part of the allure.
