There is a world of opportunity for aspiring game developers. A recent addition to your opportunities is the Make the Game 2012 competition.
German based company Computec Media is hosting a it’s second international contest. You have a chance to get in on the Make the Game 2012 contest until April 16, 2012.
Games in open beta can also be submitted. If you win, you’ll gain huge promotion from a major publishing house and a lucrative contract.
For those unfamiliar with the contest, it started last year. Computec invested 1 million euros in the contest to find browser and social network games. This year they will be doing the same.
As far as judging, 3 games have a chance to win. They will be reviewed by a five-member panel of experts. If you have a viable game, this could be your quick ticket to success.

Michael Hengst- Michael been all over the game industry and held various top positions at smaller companies.
Felix Roker- He is the VP of International Development for Havok.
Petra Frohlich- Petra is Editor in Chief of PC games.
Florian Stangl- Stangl is Editor in Chief of Online Computec Media.
Hans Ippisch- Hans is the Publishing Director of Computec Media.
Winners will be featured in a big way at Gamescom 2012 in Cologne. Last year’s top winner was Slipshift. They made the game “Reborn Horizon“which is going to be helped in an international launch by Computec Media.
Be sure to register in the competition at MaketheGame by April 16th. To put it simply, this could be your big chance. This is a major company that has huge resources that they’ll use for you if you win. And that’s not even counting the prize money that you’ll win.
