Lords of Uberdark Alpha 43
The game is getting quite beautiful as you can see in this article. There were also some specific changes in this patch:
-You can now add trees by hitting the T key in this edition.-There is a new building plane with the right mouse button that lets you build quickly and easily.
-Ragdolls are now part of Lords of Uberdark but are still being worked on.
-New materials for leaves and bark. Now you can make houses and forest areas.
-Better overall rendering for a variety of things. This includes various terrain rendering.
-A better goblin model is now part of the game.
-Minor fixes to seams and bones have been added to the models in the game.
The package is shaping up very nicely. The terrain has started getting very nice. We hope to see new biomes in later patches of Lords of Uberdark.
The controversy around Lords of Uberdark
There has been some controversy due to a lack of updates. We hope that the game gets finished over all. Some fans have also abandoned the game due to the extensive production cycle. Part of this may be due to things in the personal life of the creator. However we hope that the game will still be finished. While not all the staff feels the same, I have faith it will be good.
How to get Lords of Uberdark
Right now the trial versions are for Kickstarter members. If you get it from somewhere else it is probably not with the permission of the creator. However you can always check out the Lords of Uberdark site and get a copy there.
