Killing Floor has always had some great events. Now they’re having a free weekend and teasing their latest event.
The Tripwire devs have a special gift for you this December. From Thursday December 8th to Sunday December 11th they will be having a free weekend. You can play the game free for this period and find out if you enjoy Killing Floor.
They also released a mystery image, which we can only assume has something to do with the Christmas event. Could it be a Sleigh? A weapon? A new mechanical monstrosity from beyond the grave?
The Tripwire developers have made it a habit to put out some excellent content every Halloween and Christmas. We expect this one to be no different. Expect special versions of your favorite monsters and most likely some new rewards.
For those of you new to Killing Floor, it’s a First Person Shooter with leveling elements. The fun comes with working as a team to defeat enemies, gaining experience for new abilities and welding doors. In fact welding every door you come across is essential to the full Killing Floor experience.
The game is also noteworthy for it’s humor. Characters talking about dosh constantly (British Chav for money) and a variety of other quips. This is to say nothing of the Stalker having been inexplicably attractive one Christmas or the ” Commando Chicken”. They very regularly release special event skins that you don’t have to pay for, but do have to play for.
Killing Floor is of course for mature gamers only. There is quite a bit of blood to go with the humor. You can get it on Steam now for $19.99. While it’s certainly worth it for that price, the game is on sale quite often. Due to it’s sales it is one of the most all-encompassing non-F2P games on Steam.
