With a limited staff, we don’t always have time to bring you all the news in bites. So we’re going to bring you some Kalypso updates all at once.
Hard Reset Extended Edition
Hard Reset is getting an extended edition from Kalypso. For those unfamiliar you play the only remaining human in a city stuck in a huge and violent conflict. The main draw of the game is the literally electrifying nature of the weapons.
The extended edition will be hosting four new types of enemies and five new campaign levels. There will also be two new survival levels to sink your teeth into. The game will be running on a better version of their graphical engine.
Tropico 4: Modern times
Kalypso’s flagship title Tropico 4 is getting a modern makeover for the times. Fortunately this new edition coming to PC and Xbox 360 is much more than some DLC. It is an expansion on the game in every term of the word. Let’s go down some of the features:
- A new timeline system that lets you go from Cold War all the way to our future.
- 30 new buildings which include Skyscrapers and even Biofarms.
- Ability to upgrade your buildings as your technology progresses. You can turn those huts into modern buildings.
- 10 new edicts. The game wouldn’t be any fun without making your people miserable now and then.
- A new single player campaign.
Jagged Alliance: Back in Action
This classic series is getting a revival in February. It will be out on Steam on February 9th. It looks like it will stay fairly true to the original games.
