Kakumeiki Valvrave season 2 episodes 3 and 4 are about what happens with the group from Jior after they land in Dorssia.
The beginning of Kakumeiki Valvrave episode 3 shows another glimpse into the future with Saki and Satomi talking to a boy about the past. At this point in the future what was considered a curse is considered a blessing. Not hard to see how people in the future could see it as a blessing when it is not happening to them. The recipient appears to not be able to die to normal means and they have eternal youth. It is interesting to see an outsiders perspective on it since the show is dominated by Haruto’s perspective where it is a curse that needs to be stopped and makes him ineligible to be with the girl he loves.
The new mechs based off the Valvraves seem too good to be true. If the real Valvraves require runes and special personalities then how can the Dorssians have already made a mech that is better and appears to have none of the drawbacks? Hopefully something bad about them will come up and it will not just be a beatdown every time they show up now that the Valvrave has been mass produced.
Kakumeiki Valvrave has once again taken a character that has very little development and tried to make them important to make their death seem significant. Right before Aina died they built her up to try to make an impact and now they are trying to do it with Marie. Marie might not be dead, but right now it sure looks like when the last of her memories was destroyed she died. Especially with the Valvrave saying goodbye to her. Her story was farfetched with the memories draining out of her to pilot the Valvrave when it does not appear that anyone else’s do. Also with her realizing which memories were going away it was getting bad, but still the funny bad that has kept people watching Valvrave. Using the same technique they already used with Aina makes it seem they are already out of ideas for this season. Are they slowly going to kill off all the support characters to have “dramatic” moments that have little impact on the audience?
They should have had more characters that won’t die from it get shot in episode 3. There were not nearly enough.
