Kakumeiki Valvrave season 2 episode 9 is about the reactions that happen after it is revealed that the pilots are immune to being stabbed. Unfortunately that was not the only thing revealed and Dorassia blamed the Phantom killing people for runes on the Jiorans. This lead to ARUS calling for the irradiation of the students. The students were fighting amongst each other about who were monsters and responsible for all this when they should have been planning to get away. Since they did not band together there was a massive slaughter of students before some got away in their space ships. The Valvraves were protecting the fleeing students when one group betrayed them to be let go, which did not turn out as they planned. One of the pilots is supposed to be dead now.
The council of 101 really pulled out all the stops this episode of Kakumeiki Valvrave by blaming what happened on the Phantom on the students. The Jioran students lost all the support they had and will no longer work together the way they have before. They do not trust each other because the pilots never revealed that they could not die normally to the general populace. If they had revealed it before it would not have been the double whammy it was when they showed Saki not dying and then the ship full of people being drained for ruins. The students might have at least believed that the pilots were not killing their loved ones.
From the massive amount of soldiers and sheer firepower that ARUS had to take down the students it looks like the leader of ARUS is part of the council of 101. Otherwise the number of soldiers brought on a peaceful mission seems a bit high. Also the way that ARUS and Dorssia joined forces so quickly implies that the leaders were just waiting for a reason to combine the two powers. They more than likely lead the reporter to the phantom as well to set the whole thing up.
Now that the students have left their module, where can they go? All of Earth is against them and their faces have been all over the news, so they will find it hard to land somewhere and try to blend in. If they can’t go to Earth then what is the plan? They got away, but how will they survive? Things have gotten complicated now.
Seems pretty hard to believe that after all the pilots can’t die nonsense one of the pilots dies that same episode. The Valvraves seem a bit pointless now that there are mechs that counter them, so I guess they would be fine with one less pilot.
