Kakumeiki Valvrave Season 2 episode 7 is all about finding out what the Magius’s are as well as Pino and the children piloting the Valvraves. Magius and Pino are aliens and the children piloting the Valvraves are an attempt to artificially recreate the Magius’s powers. The Magius have been taking over important figures for a very long time and use their power to get their power source which happens to be runes.
Kakumeiki Valvrave will not end until every character is an alien that looks like a human or an artificial attempt to be one. Who needs food when everyone important is eating runes now? That explains the Phantom being a farm to create runes for Dorssia. They need to feed tons of Magius somehow, so why not farm people for runes? Really finding out that everyone is an alien just made this poorly written show feel even more poorly written. They could not have found a better reason behind them than that? I would have preferred them being the next evolution like Haruto’s dad was trying to create.
The fight between Haruto and his father ended pretty abruptly with his dad simply staying behind. The whole rescue mission and discussion feels mostly pointless especially now that they have suddenly revealed the truth behind the Magius. We already knew that the whole school had been altered in some fashion to make them acceptable as candidates for the Valvraves, which made the reveal last week less dramatic. It feels like there should have been more to it.
Lieselotte being dead should really complicate things for the students. L-elf’s drive to make the country and help them was to have a place to take Lieselotte. Now that she is dead will he still have the same focus? He has already shown that she comes before any plans he has for the new country. He could go off to do something else now that she is no longer in the equation or send the country down the wrong path for revenge. Kakumeiki Valvrave could be in for a major change.
Once again no runes means no life.
