Kakumeiki Valvrave Season 2 episode 6 is about the Jioran team going to save captured Jiorans. The group gets the help of royalists to get in to save the prisoners and one of them is Haruto’s dad. The group is on the grounds with the royalists when L-elf finds out the girl he is obsessed with is on the premises. He leaves the group to go save her, but the Jiorans keep going with the plan. When the group finds the prisoners they find out the students were all genetically engineered to the a new evolution of humanity.
Kakumeiki Valvrave further explores L-elf’s obsession with the Dorssian princess. It appears that his whole plan is so that he has a place to take her when he steals her away. L-elf has tried to before and aborted the attempt because there was nowhere for them to go. How he expects to keep her with the limited resources of his ‘country’ is unknown. They are barely hanging in as it is.
One person’s dream is another person’s nightmare this episode in Kakumeiki Valvrave. Haruto has spent his whole life thinking his dad was a normal worker who just happened to be highly intelligent. He had trouble talking to to him and just when he thinks that he will have less trouble talking to him Haruto finds out the truth. Haruto’s dad’s dream is realized in Haruto who he created to be the next evolution of humanity the homo sapien novus. Haruto is totally against that believing that he is a monster and wants to stop the process. The two of them can not see eye to eye about this situation at all. Now we know why the students of the school are the only ones who can pilot the Valvraves. Also Haruto’s dad says that the program was for the military, so have to wonder how much of this was what the government intended. Were they trying to a make a better soldier, or did the scientists go off track to try to do something that they wanted while doing work for the military?
Haruto’s dad has an obsession with the next evolution that is hard to understand. He thinks that humans are below this new evolution and should be thought of as animals made for eating. Wonder if he would feel the same if they were eating him. The way he keeps a picture of Haruto’s genes and calls it a picture is super creepy. I guess the whole thing just makes him feel like a god like he brings up in the show.
